For those not aware…

What Is a Liquidation?

Liquidation is when you need to move your stock ASAP. It could be related to a bankruptcy, but many times it is a certain lot of inventory that you no longer want to carry on your shelves. It could be you just made the wrong decision about the product and want to have someone else move it out. You may be paying too much warehousing costs on it, and it is a sore eye on your balance sheet.

So a liquidation service (like ours) helps take that painful inventory decision off your hands and move it out in the marketplace. We sell either B2C (direct to consumer) or B2B (wholesale lots) so that you can see that inventory moved out as soon as possible.

We will pay you a percentage of the proceeds, so you can even recoup some of the investment.

Part 1: Project Objective

To assist Amazon sellers in clearing their local inventory in the US, including items in FBA and third-party warehouses.

Part 2: Services Provided

The service helps sellers connect with US influencers to clear inventory through TikTok account distribution. This is done primarily through two methods:

  1. Short Videos: Video performance will be tracked, and products will be distributed via video yellow cart links.
  2. Live Streaming: Influencers will distribute products through live sessions.

Part 3: General Cooperation Plans for Different Seller Situations

1. Sellers without a TikTok Shop

1.1 Inventory in FBA Warehouse:

Currently, FBA multichannel fulfillment does not provide tracking numbers, making it impossible to track fulfillment on TikTok. Therefore, a semi-closed loop model will be used. The seller creates an exclusive product link and provides it. Creators will be asked to place this link in the comment section of their video.

  • A service fee of 8% of the GMV generated from the exclusive purchase links will be charged.

1.2 Inventory in Third-Party Overseas Warehouse:

  • Products can be listed in a TikTok shop and distributed through TikTok’s closed-loop model. This involves sending product distribution links from the shop to influencers. Customers can order directly through the video links, completing the transaction on TikTok. Sellers provide a list of cooperative products, including the product name, selling points, inventory quantity, retail price, and commission (products with a total commission less than 25% are not accepted, including commissions for both the service provider and the influencer). For low-priced products, it is recommended to bundle them to increase the selling price.
  • Sellers need to upload the shipping tracking number within two working days after the order date. The service provider must upload the tracking number on TikTok to complete fulfillment; otherwise, penalties will apply.
  • On the 25th of each month, completed orders will be reviewed. Within three working days after confirming the order list, the corresponding amount based on the selling price on the product list will be paid.

2. Sellers with a TikTok Shop

Sellers can upload products they need to distribute to their shop.

2.1 Inventory in FBA Warehouse:

  • Products will be distributed through videos using the aforementioned semi-closed loop model.

2.2 Inventory in Third-Party Overseas Warehouse:

  • Products will be distributed through videos using the aforementioned closed-loop model.

3. Sellers with Continuous Inventory and Promotion Budget Later On

  • Distribution through both short videos and live streaming.

4. Sellers Seeking to Clear Existing Stock Without Replenishment Orders

  • Distribution through live streaming only, stopping once sold out. Currently, short videos without promotion generate very few orders, so they can be used to clear stock at a low price as a promotional item for live streamers.
  • These products can be used as promotional items for live streaming. The purpose for merchants is not to make a profit but to quickly clear inventory.

Part 4: Fee Structure

  1. Influencer Promotion Fee:

High-quality influencers with good performance data require an additional promotion fee, which will be charged separately. Any additional video production costs incurred by paid influencers will be paid separately. These influencers will only proceed and be paid after being reviewed and confirmed.

  1. GMV Commission Settlement:

For products with a total commission of 23-25%, this includes 8% as service fees and 15-17% to influencers.
